When I left a 20 year career in the military, I wanted to work for meaning, not money. I spent several years working for charitable causes involving homeless pets and people.  I’d just published a book to benefit Katrina victims ("The House That Faux Built" - "Transform Your Home with Paint Plaster and Creativity”), and was departing on an author’s tour when I met Susan Colwell of MyGreenCottage.  I was so impressed by her vision of making green homes affordable, doing the right thing for her customers and the environment, and support of charitable causes, that I wanted to be a part of MyGreenCottage.  Serving as Marketing Director/HHC affords me the chance to work toward an even greater purpose-to help preserve the earth as a long-term home for both people and animals and to share that vision with others.
