 Being a team member of MyGreenCottage has been a natural progression of events. As a family we have been organic gardening for over 15 years raising some of the most delicious vegetables you can imagine. When the time came to expand our garden we purchased land in Pennsylvania and decided to build a home. We knew that our new home would not only be a shelter for the family but would need to utilize as many of the natural resources as possible. We were able to incorporate geo-thermal, passive solar, and are in the process of setting up a wind power for electricity. Living “Green” for us is a way of life not only to protect the environment in which we live but to provide a safe and healthy home to my family. I believe every family should have the knowledge and choices available to them so that their home is just as beautiful as it is healthy. At MyGreenCottage we empower individuals with knowledge so they can make healthy informed decisions concerning their homes. Working with each Building Partner and seeing their dreams come true helps me realize we are making a difference.
