VICE PRESIDENT REGIONAL SALES (VPRS) 

VPRS build and motivate their sales force and enjoy extensive financial rewards. They have an active presence with national management and with their own team of HHCs. VPRS offer support, answer questions, generate leads, spearhead promotional events and actively sell the MyGreenCottage brand. VPRS opportunities are available to HHCs who excel in sales,
communication and leadership skills.

The MyGreenCottage Show Homes Program presents a unique opportunity for you and/or your clients to own a MyGreenCottage home at a reduced cost. Owning a MyGreenCottage home that you can show to potential clients increases sales.

Healthy Home Consultants who sign up to build a MyGreenCottage Show Home may do so at a discounted rate on the package, construction and all green technologies (ie: wind power, solar, geothermal).

Show Home prices start at approximately $250,000 on your improved lot.

WE’RE HELPING PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT 

MyGreenCottage homes leave behind a softer carbon footprint due to high energy efficiency and low resource use. In addition, MyGreenCottage purchases five years worth of renewable energy credits (RECs) for every home sold. Simply by enjoying their new MyGreenCottage home, your clients (and you!) will be sharing in keeping approximately 60 tons of harmful CO2 emissions out of the air! (Our corporate goal is to produce 100 MyGreenCottage homes by 2010.)

We balance carbon emissions from our mobile sales force by purchasing RECs for flights and rental cars. In addition, all MyGreenCottage executives purchase RECs for personal homes, Show Homes and personal vehicles making the national support team at MyGreenCottage carbon-balanced! MyGreenCottage marketing materials are also printed on 100% recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.

FAQ’S 

Q: Do I need a real estate or a contractor's/builder's license to sell MyGreenCottage Homes?
A: You don’t need a license to sell our home components or building services in any states that we know of. Please call your local government if you are not sure about the restrictions of your specific area.

Q: What about benefits, health care and 401K?
A: All MyGreenCottage representatives are Independent Contractors. That means you are responsible for your own taxes, benefits and health care. We belong to national associations that offer health care benefits and 401k programs to small business owners at a discounted rate.

Q: How much money can I make?
A: The short answer is as much as you want. MyGreenCottage representatives are their own boss. Some consultants choose to work part-time, while others make this a full-time career. As in real estate, the sales cycle can be slow at first so you want to make sure you have sufficient funds to cover your living expenses until you close a few sales. According to the National Association of Realtors, the average income for a first-year real estate agent is approximately $12,000. At MyGreenCottage, a new or part-time Healthy Home Consultant can earn $30,000 to $50,000 while full-time, experienced associates can earn six figures per year.

Q: Is there a franchise fee?
A: No. Because we want to make this opportunity available to all proven sales professionals, there is no franchise fee at this time. Unlike other start-up businesses that require a substantial capital investment, qualified candidates have a unique, ground-floor opportunity to enter this exciting and growing market with minimal expense. As with all business opportunities, you must cover your own start-up expenses. While we provide you with a new HHC starter kit (which includes electronic brochure and business card templates), we ask that you purchase one or two, organic cotton polo-style or long sleeve shirts and apply our logo. Personalized business cards and brochures may be purchased at our (volume discounted) cost. In addition, letterhead, fax and envelope templates, a company e-mail address and voicemail box are free to all MyGreenCottage representatives. Once you are making sales, we pay either a portion, or all, of your yearly marketing expenses depending on volume. (We do not refund business equipment purchases.)

Q: Are there designated territories?
A: Yes. Designated territories are available to Healthy Home Consultants who meet quota.

Q: How do I get leads?
A: Some leads are supplied by our national office. However, consultants who wish to earn six figures, develop and work their own leads. A portion of our training program is dedicated to generating and working leads. Healthy Home Consultants get 100% of the leads generated by our corporate headquarters inside their territory agreement.

Q: Why must I be required to own specific equipment?
A: There is a famous saying in the sports world: “If you want to play the game you must show up with the right equipment.” We conduct most of our business using internet-based tools. Most of these tools require very specific equipment and software programs to operate properly. To create a great experience for your clients, all of your internet-based tools must operate flawlessly. That is the reason that you must already own, or be willing to purchase specific items to be considered a viable candidate. Without the proper tools, your time (and ours) would be wasted.

Q: When can I get started?
A: As soon as your application is approved, you can get started. Because we don’t want our consultants competing with each other, there are a limited number of opportunities available in each area. We encourage that you be as thorough as possible on your application to avoid any delay. The application process takes approximately 7-10 business days. Once you receive an acceptance letter you can start selling that day!
